Baptism at the Wendebach Reservoir

Baptism Service at Wendebach Reservoir
– an unforgettable summer day is coming up!
On May 31, we’ll be celebrating a very special occasion: the baptism at Wendebach Reservoir—a real highlight of our year! Some people will be baptized, publicly professing their faith. It’s a reason to celebrate, marvel, and give thanks! If you’re interested in being baptized, please feel free to contact us by the end of April!
Otherwise, come to the service!
The baptism service by the lake begins at 10:30 a.m.
Afterward, let’s hang out together—with a barbecue, relaxing, swimming in the lake, and good company.
A few important notes…
… Seating:
Please bring a blanket, a folding chair, or a bench.
… Sun protection:
Remember sunscreen, hats, or umbrellas—depending on the weather.
… Children’s program:
There will be games and fun for the kids during the service—and of course, all children are welcome to join in the baptism itself!
… Buffet & Beverages:
Please feel free to bring a contribution for the shared buffet—e.g., salads, finger foods, or cake—and make sure the food stays cool (coolers, etc.). Bread and meat will be provided. Beverages are especially important—please bring plenty!
Feel free to invite your friends, neighbors, and acquaintances! A summer day at the lake with baptisms, fellowship, and delicious food—what could be better?
We’re really looking forward to seeing you and celebrating this special day! 🌊☀️
P.S.: If, contrary to expectations, the weather doesn't cooperate (please keep us in your prayers), the baptism will take place in the parish hall. We'll let you know through all our channels…
